(3/14/18) Cumberland Times News: “Former county resident running for attorney general”

“Wolf’s campaign slogan is “Creating a safer Maryland together.” He said Frosh is not working with Gov. Larry Hogan to solve Maryland’s problems, including the violent crime plaguing the Baltimore area.

“Baltimore has the No. 1 per-capita murder rate in the country …,” Wolf said. “It must be addressed. If you want to improve the economy in Maryland, you better be a place where people want to come.”

Wolf gave an interview to the Times-News during a visit to the city on Friday.

Wolf lived in the Cumberland area for five years in the 1990s when he was assistant state’s attorney for Allegany County. While in Cumberland, he said he prosecuted 78 jury trials — cases that ranged from driving while intoxicated to arson and murder — while working under prosecutors Bob Hamilton and Larry Kelly.”
